Course Information___________________________

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Guidelines and manuscripts are widely available but decision-making in individual patients involves clinical judgment. Through this comprehensive, interactive 3 day course, attendees will have an opportunity to interact with experts to individualize their approaches to patients with PSVT, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia, indications for defibrillator and cardiac resynchronization therapy. In addition, the latest advances in anti-arrhythmic pharmacologic therapy, and controversies in device extraction will be addressed.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Assess the suitability of the criteria for ablation of atrial fibrillation and the
most recent technical approaches

• Define the advantages of genetic testing in patients with idiopathic cardiac
arrest and their families on an individualized basis

• Discuss the approach to ablation of hemodynamically stable ventricular
tachycardia

• Explain the role of new transseptal tools

TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational program is designed for clinical electrophysiologists.
